The Oxytocin Trial is a multisite randomized controlled trial that aims to determine the efficacy of a novel biological intervention, oxytocin (OT) nasal spray, as a treatment for impaired social functioning in young children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) aged 3-6 years. The secondary aim of this study is to identify key biomarkers of response that can accurately predict who benefits from OT nasal spray treatment.
Participation in this study requires multiple face-face visits over a 6 month period.
Please note that this study is being conducted across two sites; Sydney and Perth.
